The Kern Law Enforcement Association is endorsing Supervising Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Zimmer.Zimmer is running to replace her boss. The union points out Zimmer has supervised gang prosecutions locally for decades. District Attorney Lisa Green has endorsed her Assistant D.A. Scott Spielman in the November 2018 election.
