The Grand Jury is making recommendations to manage the trouble-plagued North Kern Cemetery District.Tuesday’s report asks County Supervisors to appoint new members to the Cemetery Board hoping to change the agency’s hostile environment and sloppy finances. The district has suffered cash thefts, employee fights and poor record keeping. $60 thousand went missing that was discovered in 2014.
