A 36-year-old man is facing numerous charges that include resisting arrest after a SWAT standoff on Linden Drive in Pine Mountain Club.

Deputies say they were called when Mathew Barr refused to let his ex-girlfriend take her belongings and learned he had several knives and a hatchet. They say he also tried to pepper spray deputies.

A K-9 was sent in to secure to Barr, who was in the basement and wearing body armor.
