New security measures are going into effect at the County Administrative Center.The building that houses the Board of Supervisors on Truxtun Avenue in Bakersfield. All visitors will have to go through a screening process starting Monday that includes a metal detector to assure no banned items come into the building. The south entrance near the parking garage is the only one that will be open to the public.
