Pesticide restrictions are in effect for all citrus groves north of 7th Standard Road.

The Kern County Department of Agriculture says citrus bloom has reached 10% as of Wednesday, and the insecticides could affect pollinator bees. All citrus growers, pest control operators and bee keepers are required to comply with the regulation.
