The Valley Air District has issued a health caution because of windy conditions.The wind put a lot of fine particulate matter into the air. The entire San Joaquin Valley is under the PM 10 advisory through Friday, as the dust can remain in the air long after the wind subsides. People with respiratory and heart issues are advised to remain indoors. The actual air quality is forecast as GOOD for Kern County Friday despite the warning.
