25 new American citizens have been sworn in a ceremony at the Cesar Chavez National Monument in Keene. California Secretary of State Alex Padilla was the speaker and told of how his parents were immigrants from Mexico. The event was held at the center in the Kern County mountains in honor of Chavez’s 90th birthday anniversary.
