Hundreds of people marched through downtown Bakersfield in support of families who lost loved ones to crime.

Tuesday evening’s Crime Victims’ Rights March was organized by District Attorney Lisa Green and featured the Bakersfield College Chamber Choir and prayers from ministers. Families carried signs and wore T-shirt with the pictures and names of loved ones who had been lost to violent crime.

This is the event’s 5th year.
