A 48-year-old woman has been killed after she drove her Jeep into a concrete bridge northeast of Bakersfield. The CHP says the woman was going north on Fairfax Road around 1:00 Friday morning when she drifted into the next lane then hit the pillar at Alfred Harrell Highway.

It is not known if drugs or alcohol are factors in the crash.
