Several Kern Valley State Prison officers have been injured in a couple of incidents.The inmates attacked the guards in two, unrelated incidents. One officer was hospitalized with a moderate head injury in Monday morning’s unprovoked attacks at the Delano facility. An inmate was also sent to a hospital, while others involved received minor injuries from being punched in the face.
