DOUBLE FIRE TROUBLE IN MOUNTAINS

Fire has kept crews busing in the Lake Isabella area, beginning with a grass fire of about 15 acres near Weldon. County Fire Captain Jason Knaggs says the report came in around 12:40 Monday afternoon of a fire off Fay Ranch Road that was approaching homes. Hot shots, air tankers and a helicopter were called to battle the blaze. Engines working that fire were then called shortly afterwards to a home on Goat Ranch Road in South Lake. No one was hurt as the home burned down, the cause it unknown.
