The body of a Bakersfield man who fell out of a kayak in the Kern River has been recovered. The body was located in the area of Shadow Hills Drive, about 3 miles from where he disappeared. 60-year-old Lawrence Holguin went under the water near Hart Park April 15th, and search and rescue crews found him near the rear of a home on the river Saturday afternoon.
