A woman sought for the armed robbery of the Shell station in southwest Bakersfield has been captured. Police Sgt. Ryan Kroeker says 30-year-old Blaine Witt was arrested Saturday for the April 21st robbery at Ming Avenue and Real Road, and he credits a high quality surveillance camera. The clear pictures were publicized last Friday and calls quickly started coming in to BPD. He says high quality surveillance systems can really help identify suspects, witnesses and even victims. Witt and a man found at her home were both booked Saturday for drug possession and sales charges, she also faces armed robbery.
