The coroner says a wheelchair-bound man with cerebral palsy who died recently was strangled. 31-year-old Nicholas Dean lived with his sister and her boyfriend on September Drive in south Bakersfield before his death March 1st, the couple have not been charged. Dean’s brother, Jonathan, died in a murder-for-hire case in 2014. The brothers’ foster father, George Dean, pleaded guilty and the suspected actual killer has yet to be tried.
