Dozens are recovering from a suspected norovirus outbreak at a pair of senior living centers. Carriage House Estates and Brookside Senior Apartments in southwest Bakersfield had residents suffering from gastric illnesses starting last week, County Public Health says it was hard to count how many were sickened. The facilities are going through sanitation protocols and are recommending families not come to the homes for Mother’s Day.
