PLANNERS ASK PUBLIC FOR TRANSPORTATION IDEAS

Public meetings are being held to help planners chose the next transportation projects for our area.

Rob Ball with the Kern Council of Governments took questions from business owners in downtown Bakersfield Wednesday and says input from residents in the past has led to more pedestrian and bike paths. The forums are also required so we can qualify for $11 billion in federal funds.

The next one is Thursday night at the Rexland Community Center in southeast Bakersfield.
