A Bakersfield City School District employee has been arrested for sexually assaulting a teenaged boy following a house party. Police say 25-year-old Edward Gonzalez and the victim were at a party early Saturday when they left to go to the man’s house where investigators say the assault happened. Gonzalez had known the boy from when he attended Sierra Middle School, the district says the teacher’s aid is not being allowed on campus as the case is investigated.
