A new festival is coming to Jefferson Park on Bernard Street in east Bakersfield that aims to improve community health. Councilman Andrae Gonzales is hosting the event on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 2:00. Census data shows nearly 30-percent of people living in that area have reported health issues in the past 30 days. The event features over 40 participants focusing on health and community.
