A new baseball team is in town for the summer season as the Bakersfield Train Robbers have begun play.Their home is at historic Sam Lynn Ballpark. The team started their first-ever homestand Thursday night with a 13-3 win over the Monterey Amberjacks, who they host each night this weekend. The Train Robbers are in the independent Pecos League.
