California Water Services customers around Bakersfield have been notified the company is easing restrictions on the days of the week to water landscapes, but that doesn’t really apply here. Cal Water spokeswoman Yvonne Kingman says the notice generally applies to other customers around the state.

Bakersfield still only allows three watering days a week, based on street address. The city may still cite homeowners who don’t follow the local ordinance.
