D.C. IS HUMMING ALONG

Congressman David Valadao is reassuring constituents things are getting done in the nation’s Capitol despite political turmoil. The Republican from Hanford believes those willing to work with members of the other party are the majority. He points out that 28 bills have been sent to the President’s desk, more than any administration in its first 100 days since Harry Truman. Valadao expects health care reform to be passed at some point although the Senate is making more changes to the House version than anticipated. He doesn’t know when the health coverage bill will be completed.
