Police are circulating a surveillance photo of a man suspected of stealing a donation jar containing over $1,000 that had been collected for the Marine Corps Veteran’s Association. The money was taken from in front of the Wal-Mart on Gosford Road in southwest Bakersfield on the afternoon of May 13th, the suspect is described as 20 to 25-years-old with a light complexion, about six-feet tall and 160 pounds.
