A new scam has come to the attention of the Sheriff’s office after one of their employees got a letter from England.The mail was claiming to be looking for the beneficiary of a life insurance policy. The letter asks the recipient to contact them and gives an email and phone number as they contacted people in the U.S. with the same last name as a recently deceased person. The Sheriff’s office advises never to provide personal information to unfamiliar contacts.
