The coroner has determined a man found dead in an almond orchard at Fairfax and DiGiorgio roads in Lamont.The body was found last November and was struck in the head and strangled. 75-year-old Alvaro Rodriguez was found by farm workers and homicide investigators were called to the scene. There have been no suspects found in the death.
