A convicted felon is facing several weapons charges for tossing a loaded handgun on Buck Owens Boulevard. Bakersfield Police say 29-year-old David Swenson tried to get rid of the gun after they stopped him Monday night near Riverside Drive.
Court records show he was also wanted on spousal abuse charges.
