The man suspected of trying to sexually assault a woman inside a southwest Bakersfield apartment has pleaded not guilty to a burglary charge. Police say 31-year-old Larry Thomas Jr. broke into the place on Brookside Drive near Gosford Road on Sunday then got into bed with the victim.

Community tips led to his arrest.
