Two people are facing charges from a drug bust in Taft. 24-year-old Ashley Mullen of Taft and 47-year-old Derek Simpson from Bakersfield were booked Thursday night following a probation search on the 300 block of Warren Street. Police say they found meth, heroin, Fentanyl and various pain medications that had a street value of $50-thousand, along with $800 in cash.
