One man is dead, another was rescued and a third is still missing in two incidents in the Kern River near Sandy Flat campground. Sheriff’s Search and Rescue crews recovered a man’s body Saturday and saved a man later that day who was stranded on a rock. His 27-year-old nephew was last seen being pulled underwater. County and city firefighters also rescued a man who got trapped in the water Sunday afternoon in Hart Park while another man went missing.
