The man accused of shooting and killing another man in McFarland has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder. Police say 18-year-old Samuel Alaniz gunned down 25-year-old William Carillo, Jr. July 14th on East Sherwood Avenue near San Pedro Street. No word on a motive for a shooting.
