Bakersfield Police have cleared an officer who shot and killed a robbery suspect after a car chase.

Officer Spencer Carlson gunned down 47-year-old Rogelio Landa after he crashed his SUV into a tree on Hudson Drive last April and started running away. Landa was a suspect in two armed robberies earlier that day.
