Kern County will settle its decade-long lawsuit with Los Angeles over voter approved Measure E, which banned LA from dumping treated human bio-solids on a farm southwest of Bakersfield. County counsel Mark Nations told Supervisors Tuesday the deal will let LA dump at certain sites while Kern County will pay about $54-thousand towards millions of dollars in legal fees.
