Governor Brown is ordering all flags at the Capitol to be flown at half-staff in honor of fallen Bakersfield Police Sergeant Dennis Moore. Brown said in a statement that his thoughts are with Moore’s “family, friends and the entire Bakersfield Police Department”.

Moore died Wednesday morning after a major medical event at his home as he was getting ready for work.
