Firefighters spent hours mopping up and monitoring a small brush fire in Wofford Heights that destroyed one home and threatened hundreds more. The fire on Edison Lane was reported just before Noon on Sunday and it included a mobile home, and strong winds and downed power lines were also a problem. The cause of the one-third acre fire is being investigated.
