A memorial service is scheduled this week for Bakersfield Police Sergeant Dennis Moore. An obituary in Sunday’s Bakersfield Californian says Moore died from an apparent heart attack. The service is at Riverlakes Community Church on Calloway Drive at 10 a.m. Moore was a 20-year-veteran of the department and also worked for the Arvin Police Department.
