Dozens of companies showed off their products during the second-annual Downtown Business Expo at the Westchester on F Street.

Cornelio Gutierrez-Lozano of the Downtown Business Association says they put on the event Thursday afternoon to encourage people to shop in the Bakersfield neighborhood. Many who were there also networked with other local merchants.

About 100 people stopped by to check out the booths and sample some of the food.
