VIEW SOLAR ECLIPSE SAFELY

People who do not have certified solar eclipse glasses are being told to be extremely careful when watching Monday morning’s event. Delano teacher and NASA Ambassador Roberta Parnell says there are ways that work and those that don’t. The Kern Astronomical Society also held forums on safely viewing the first solar eclipse in the U.S. since 1916 but Andrea Lopez from Bakersfield College says no way they were sticking around. The moon will pass between the Earth and the Sun between 10:00 and 11:00am.
