Kern County supervisors are expected to hear a staff briefing Tuesday on whether marijuana businesses should be banned or regulated in unincorporated areas. David Brust with Bakersfield Residents Against Pot Shops says he’s concerned about more dispensaries becoming available to younger people. A briefing document states enforcing a ban would cost the county between $1.2 and $2.7-million, the report is scheduled for the session at 2:00.
