Two Bakersfield firefighters are in northern Nevada to help knock down a 10,000 acre blaze. The R-4 Fire sparked near the California border town of Madeline on Wednesday and is just 10% contained. The thunderstorm-driven fire is threatening several ranches.

One BFD firefighter will be a Resource Unit Leader while the other will be a Distribution Manager.
