The Caldwell Fire burning north of Kernville has destroyed more than 11-hundred acres in grass and brush. Fire managers say air tankers and helicopters continue to support firefighters on the ground with retardant and water drops. The heat from the fire which is 61-percent contained is quickly diminishing.
