BHS REMEMBERS 9-11

Students and staff at Bakersfield High School have honored those killed in the 9-11 terrorist attacks during a remembrance ceremony on campus.

Almost 3,000 people died in the attack, which Principal David Reese says is close to their total enrollment. Many of the students had not been born yet or were still in diapers when it happened.

The Junior ROTC also laid a memorial wreath to the victims near the school’s front offices and stood guard over it all day.
