The Kern High School District has hosted a community forum on student behavior and shared updated reports on how many kids were disciplined or transferred.

Dr. Jon Eyler of Collaborative Learning Solutions spoke Tuesday evening and says there are several ways to build a system of intervention, with the goal being long term solutions to discipline problems.

The District recently settled a lawsuit with several civil rights groups who claim minority students were unfairly disciplined or expelled.
