A man has been sentenced to 12-years in prison for a fatal stabbing of another man at an apartment complex in Lost Hills. Deputy District Attorney Nick Lackie says there was an argument inside Daniel Ruiz’s residence with 33-year-old Fredy Lopez last October. Ruiz found guilty of voluntary manslaughter, had been charged with first-degree murder but that count was dismissed as part of a plea bargain.
