The owner of a Lamont mini-mart who pleaded no contest to assault for shooting a suspected shoplifter has been sentenced to 90 days in jail.

Surveillance video from March shows Elias Aguilar shooting at David Carillo through the front glass of the Azteca Market on Highway 184 as he was running away. Carillo was seriously injured.
