A 2014 graduate of Cal State Bakersfield is one of several victims with local ties in the Route 91 festival shooting. 26-year-old Melissa Ramirez received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Campus President Dr. Horace Mitchell released a statement saying he was saddened to learn of the passing of a member of the CSUB family in this senseless act of violence.
