More money is coming for temporary duty employees at China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station in eastern Kern County. The per diem has been increased to $176 to cover living expenses. Congressman Kevin McCarthy says the bump in pay will have a direct positive impact on the local economy and will benefit the overall Ridgecrest community.
