The coroner’s office has identified a 3-month-old baby who went unresponsive at a Bakersfield residence as Peyton Simental. Deputies say he was taken to Memorial Hospital last week, then transferred to Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles where he died yesterday [thu]. An autopsy is scheduled for next week.
