The Wounded Heroes Fund has started renovating their north Bakersfield facility to help veterans who served after 9-11.

The $200,000 makeover will focus on transitioning service members back into society by offering more cooking classes, as well as marriage, financial, and job training workshops. There will also be an office at the Standard Street facility for Honor Flight Kern County.
