The 24-year-old man charged with causing the crash that killed a young woman on Taft Highway in Bakersfield has pleaded not guilty to vehicular manslaughter.

Franklin Villalta-Juarez faces five felony counts stemming from the death of 20-year-old Angel Marie Mulley, who was returning from a trip to a pumpkin patch with her boyfriend and their child.
