KERN COUNTY SHAKES OUT

Students and staff at Valle Verde Elementary in southeast Bakersfield joined 200,000 others across the county to take part in the Great California Shake Out. The annual earthquake drill gets people to practice dropping, covering, and holding on before “The Big One” strikes.
