County Supervisors have voted four to one to ban commercial cannabis activities in the unincorporated areas that include medical and recreational use by adults. Fifth District Supervisor Leticia Perez in opposition had been leaning in favor of regulating the industry. Outdoor cultivation would also be prohibited, a marijuana enforcement task force would be set up to phase out medicinal dispensaries after a year.
